Kohler arrested after 5-pound marijuana delivery

SPRINGVILLE — Erie County Sheriff Tim Howard reported that the Erie County narcotics unit, working with the United States Postal Inspectors, with the assistance of East Aurora Police Detective Daminski, executed a search warrant and arrested Peter Kohler, 22, at his Eaton Street address in Springville.

Kohler was arrested after 5 pounds of marijuana was delivered to his residence. Several weapons were also recovered and are being examined further, to determine if they are stolen, which would result in additional charges.

Kohler was charged with a D felony possession of marijuana, a D felony possession of an assault weapon and a A misdemeanor possession of a weapon. He was taken to the Erie County Holding Center to await arraignment in Springville Village Court.
