CONCORD — Erie County sheriff’s deputies Bradford Ballantyne, Timothy Colling and Todd Jones conducted a traffic stop on Route 219 at Genesee Road, after observing a vehicle fail to drive on the right side of the road and fail to stay within the proper lane. Ballantyne determined that Brian Corcoran, 28, of Buffalo was intoxicated and Corcoran was taken into custody.
Corcoran was transported to the Erie County Sheriff’s Springville substation and a chemical breath test was administered. His blood alcohol content registered .22 percent, nearly three times the legal limit. Due to his high BAC and a prior driving while intoxicated conviction in September 2005, Corcoran was charged with felony aggravated DWI and other vehicle and traffic charges. He was taken to the Erie County Holding Center and will be arraigned in the town of Concord Court.
