Police and Fire reports for the Journal week of May 31

Police Reports

The Erie County Sheriff’s office responded to several calls in Boston, Colden, Concord, Sardinia and Springville from May 10-May 23. Following is a sampling of the incidents:

Boston

– May 14, Patrol arrested Thomas Jett, 44, of Sardinia on an outstanding warrant. He was held at the Erie County Holding Center. The arrest took place on Route 219.

– May 18, Patrol arrested David Yoviene, 23, of Boston, for driving while intoxicated and other related charges, following a traffic stop on Boston State Road. He submitted to a breath test, with the result being .13 percent blood alcohol content. He was released on appearance tickets to appear in Boston Court at a later date.

– Patrol investigated four automobile accidents in Boston between May 10-23.

Colden

– Patrol investigated one property damage automobile accident in the town of Colden between May 10-23.

Concord

– May 19, Patrol arrested Melissa Spatari, 32, for disorderly conduct on Middle Road. She was released on an appearance ticket to appear in court at a later date.

– May 23, Patrol arrested Stephanie Ward, 29, of Buffalo for unlawful possession of marijuana following a traffic stop on Route 219. She was released on an appearance ticket to appear in court at a later date.

– May 23, Patrol arrested Amber Bunce, of Bradford, Pa. following a traffic stop on Route 219. She was charged with criminal possession of a controlled substance, a class B felony, criminal possession of marijuana in the third degree and criminally using drug paraphernalia in the second degree. She was held at the ECHC pending arraignment.

– May 2, Patrol arrested Karlie Ryan, 19, of Bradford, Pa., following a traffic stop on Route 219. She was charged with criminal possession of marijuana in the third degree, a class E felony and criminally using drug paraphernalia in the second degree. She was held at ECHC pending arraignment.

– Patrol investigated two property damage automobile accidents in Concord between May 10-23.

Sardinia

– May 20, Patrol arrested Jeffrey Schiener, 40, of Sardinia for DWI and other related charges following a traffic stop on Olean Road. He submitted to a breath test with the result being .11 percent BAC. He was released on appearance tickets to appear in Sardinia Court at a later date.

– Patrol arrested Eric Kendall, 38, of Gowanda, and Tammy Kendall, 36, of Gowanda, on outstanding warrants. Both subjects were turned over to the Gowanda Police Department. The arrest took place on Olean Road.

Springville

– May 12, Patrol arrested Paul Herbst, 22, of West Valley, on an outstanding warrant. He was held at ECHC. The arrest took place at Waverly and Ohio streets.

– May 17, Patrol arrested Michael Ingoldsby, 27, of Angola for driving while intoxicated and other related charges following a traffic stop on East Main Street. He submitted to a breath test, with the result being .16 percent BAC. He was released on appearance tickets to appear in Springville Court at a later date.

– May 19, Patrol arrested Brooke Thornton,18, of Sardinia for petit larceny on South Cascade Drive. Thornton was released on an appearance ticket to appear in Springville Court at a later date.

– Patrol investigated six property damage automobile accidents between May 10-23.

Fire Reports

– May 19, 4:32 p.m., Springville firefighters responded to a first aid call on Waverly Street. Transported to BCH.

– May 19, 10:55 p.m., Springville firefighters responded to Mercy Flight WNY assist at BCH.

– May 20, 4:16 p.m., Springville firefighters responded to a motor vehicle accident at North Buffalo and Franklin streets.

– May 20, 7:30 p.m., Springville firefighters responded to a first aid call on East Main Street. Transported to BCH.

– May 21, 5:30 a.m., Springville firefighters responded to a first aid call on East Main Street. Rural Metro Ambulance transported to Veterans Administration Hospital in Buffalo.

– May 22, 12:27 a.m., Springville firefighters responded to a first aid call on Franklin Street. Transported to BCH.

– May 23, 10:17 a.m., East Concord firefighters responded to a first aid call on Genesee Road. Transported to BCH.

– May 23, 10:26 a.m., Springville firefighters responded to a first aid call on Waverly Street. Transported to BCH.

– May 23, East Concord firefighters responded to a first aid call on Morse Road. Rural Metro Ambulance transported to Veterans Administration Hospital in Buffalo.

– May 23, 1:23 p.m., East Concord firefighters responded to a first aid on Middle Road.

– May 23, 3:25 p.m., Mortons Corners firefighters responded to a mutual aid request from Collins Center for a fire on Brown Street.

– May 23, 3:45 p.m., East Concord firefighters responded to a first aid call on Woodstock Road. Rural Metro Ambulance transported to BCH.

– May 23, 7:16 p.m., Springville firefighters responded to a first aid call on West Main Street. Transported to BCH.

– May 23, 9:56 p.m., East Concord firefighters responded to a first aid call on Middle Road. Transported to BCH.

– May 24, 8:34 p.m., Springville firefighters responded to a first aid call on Cattaraugus Street. Transported to BCH.

– May 24, 8:30 p.m. Chaffee-Sardinia firefighters responded to a first aid call on Warner Gulf Road. Transported to BCH.

– May 25, 7:05 p.m. East Concord firefighters responded to a first aid call on Snyder Road. Transported to the Veterans Administration Hospital in Buffalo.
