Buffalo woman arrested in Concord

CONCORD — While on patrol in Concord on Nov. 27, at approximately 2:40 a.m., Erie County Sheriff’s Deputy Ken Achtyl arrested Lorie Darnley, 40, and charged her with felony driving while intoxicated, due to a prior conviction for DWI; felony aggravated unlicensed operation, due to a revoked license; driving with open alcoholic beverages; failure to use an ignition interlock device and failure to maintain roadway.

The charges were made after investigating a complaint of a car stuck in the snow in the median of the Route 219 Expressway near Trevett Road.

A breath test revealed her blood alcohol content to be .11 percent. Darnley, who is on probation for a prior DWI conviction, was processed and transported to the Erie County Holding Center to await arraignment in Concord Court.
