Aggravated DWI due to BAC levels

CONCORD — Erie County Sheriff’s Deputy Jonathan Hanna responded to a citizen’s complaint of a vehicle’s driving erratically on Route 219 southbound, at 7:22 p.m. on July 7.

Hanna located and stopped the vehicle. He reported that the driver, 48-year-old Jennifer Buckley of Grand Island, was intoxicated.

Buckley was arrested and charged with driving while intoxicated. A breath test revealed that her blood alcohol content was .26 percent, more than three times the legal limit. Her high blood alcohol content resulted in an additional charge of aggravated driving while intoxicated.

The subject was released on appearance tickets, returnable to the town of Concord Court, at a future date.

Hanna was assisted by deputies Brad Ballantyne and Douglas Grube.
