The individual was subsequently charged with driving while intoxicated. – Dec. 1, Patrol investigated a report of three intoxicated males’ causing problems at Wal-Mart. – Dec. 3, Patrol investigated a complaint of aggravated harassment and advised the subject to stop or be charged. – Dec. 4, The department’s commercial truck enforcement unit and the New York State Department of Transportation performed truck inspections. – Dec. 6, Patrol assisted Erie County Sheriff’s deputies with a suspicious incident at Springville-Griffith Institute High School. – Dec. 7, The department’s K-9 unit assisted Erie County Sheriff’s deputies with narcotics searches at Springville Middle and high schools. – Dec. 7, Patrol units responded to the rear parking lot of Papa Jake’s Saloon for possible illegal activity. – Dec. 7, Patrol investigated a report of a fight on West Main Street. An intoxicated victim was found in front of a business. First aid was called and the victim was transported to Bertrand Chaffee Hospital. – Dec. 8, Patrol investigated report of a gas drive-off at Country Fair, located at the corner of routes 219 and 39. – Dec. 8, Patrol ticketed illegally-parked cars on Elm Street, following a call from a citizen.
Two Delevan teens arrested for assault in AshfordAfter an investigation was performed by the Cattaraugus County Sheriff’s Office Criminal Investigation Bureau, Jared Wrazen, 19, of Delevan, and Cody Bemish, 19, of Delevan, were charged with assault in the second degree.
On Dec. 1, the defendants repeatedly kicked and punched an 18-year-old male, while at a Dutch Hill Road address in Ashford.
The victim was taken to Bertrand Chaffee Hospital and later transported to Gates Vascular Center Institute in Buffalo, for treatment of his injuries.
The defendants were arraigned in the Great Valley Town Court, where they were remanded to the Cattaraugus County Jail, in lieu of $500 bail.
They were scheduled to appear in the Ashford Town Court on Dec. 6, for further court proceedings.

William Max arrested for DWIErie County Sheriff Timothy Howard reported that William Max, 46, of Blasdell, was arrested for driving while intoxicated, on Sunday, Nov 18.
While on patrol in Springville at 8:39 p.m., Deputy Jason Bouton arrested Max and charged him with felony DWI and aggravated DWI, as well as traffic infractions, after stopping Max’s vehicle for speeding on Route 39 near Route 219.
A breath test revealed the subject’s blood alcohol content to be .19 percent, more than twice the legal limit. The felony charge was filed due to a previous DWI conviction from 2004.
Max was processed at the Springville station and released on appearance tickets.

Two men arrested for DWI in separate incidentsErie County Sheriff Timothy Howard reported two separate driving while intoxicated arrests that took place on Dec. 2.
Deputy Benjamin Pisa stopped a vehicle for erratic driving, on Creek Road in the town of Sardinia, at 1:37 a.m. The driver, Joseph Adamczyk, 48, of Sardinia, was determined to be intoxicated.
He was charged with driving while intoxicated and multiple traffic violations. Police discovered, following a chemical breath test, that the subject’s blood alcohol level was .16 percent, twice the legal limit. Adamczyk was released to a third party, with appearance tickets for the town of Sardinia Court, returnable at a later date.
At 3:19 a.m., Deputy Donald Hoelscher stopped a vehicle on South Cascade Drive in the town of Concord for traffic violations. The vehicle was driven by Kenneth Hayden, 30, of West Valley. Following field sobriety tests that determined that Hayden’s BAC was .11 percent, the subject was charged with DWI. He was released to a third party with appearance tickets for the town of Concord Court at a later date.

Eric Suarez now in critical conditionErie County Sheriff Timothy Howard reported that the Erie County Sheriff’s Office Accident Investigation Unit is investigating a vehicle crash that took place on Feddick Road on Dec. 9 at 2:59 a.m. in the town of Boston, injuring the driver.
Eric Suarez, 24, of Rochester, was traveling north on Feddick Road, when he lost control of his vehicle, crossed over the center line, left the roadway and struck a tree, in his 2002 Ford, F-150 pickup.
Members of the Boston Fire Company treated Suarez, at the scene.
Mercy Flight transported the subject to Erie County Medical Center, where he was listed in critical condition. 
The cause of the crash remains under investigation; charges are pending.
