Erie County Sheriff’s Office
Erie County Sheriff’s deputies responded to several calls between Oct. 12-Oct. 25. Following is a sampling of incidents in Boston, Colden, Concord, Sardinia and Springville:

Boston
– Oct. 16, Patrol investigated a personal injury automobile accident on Route 219.
– Oct. 17, Patrol investigated a report of assault on Boston State Road. Joshua Taylor, 22, of Boston, was arrested for menacing, endangering the welfare of a child and harassment, following a disturbance. Taylor was taken to the Erie County Holding Center, pending arraignment.
– Oct. 19, Patrol investigated a property damage automobile accident on Route 219.
– Oct. 23, Patrol investigated a property damage automobile accident on Boston State Road.
– Oct. 24, Patrol investigated a property damage automobile accident on Route 219.
– Oct. 24, Patrol investigated a personal injury automobile accident on Boston-Colden Road.

Colden
– Oct. 12, Patrol investigated a property damage automobile accident on State Road.
– Oct. 12, Patrol investigated a property damage automobile accident on Davis Road.
– Oct. 17, Patrol investigated a property damage automobile accident on Davis Road.
– Oct. 25, Patrol investigated a property damage automobile accident on State Road.

Concord
– Oct. 13, Patrol investigated a property damage automobile accident on Vaughn Street.
– Oct. 16, Patrol investigated a personal injury automobile accident on Mortons Corners Road.
– Oct. 19, Patrol investigated a property damage automobile accident on Route 219.
– Oct. 23, Patrol investigated a property damage automobile accident on Trevett Road.
– Oct. 23, Patrol arrested Tarik Ramadhan, 28, of Brant on an outstanding warrant, which had been issued by Amherst Police Department. Ramadhan was turned over to the Amherst police department.
– Aug. 25, Patrol arrested Cheryl Merlau, 47, of Springville for driving while intoxicated following a personal injury automobile accident on Genesee Road. Merlau submitted to a breath test, with the results being .20 percent blood alcohol content. She was released on appearance tickets to appear in Springville Court at a later date.
– Oct. 25, Patrol arrested Michael Volk, 30, of Colden for unlawful possession, after a traffic stop on Springville-Boston Road. Volk was released on an appearance ticket to appear in Concord Court, at a later date.

Sardinia
– Oct. 21, Patrol investigated a property damage automobile accident on Creek Road.
– Oct. 24, Patrol investigated a property damage automobile accident on Olean Road.

Springville
– Patrol arrested Courtney Geis, 19, of East Otto and Cristy Geis, 20, of Springville, for petit larceny, after they were caught shoplifting at a South Cascade Drive business. Both subjects were released on appearance tickets, to appear in Springville Court, at a later date.
– Oct. 18, Patrol arrested Austin Moore, 18, of Franklinville, for petit larceny after he was caught shoplifting at a South Cascade Drive business. He was released on an appearance ticket to appear in Springville Court, at a later date.
– Oct. 13, Patrol arrested Kameron Maracle, 21, of Buffalo, for driving while intoxicated and other related charges following traffic stop on South Cascade Drive. Maracle submitted to a breath test, with the result being .13 percent blood alcohol content. He was committed to ECHC on $7,000 bail.
– Oct. 19, Patrol arrested Mary Isaacs, 40, and Yvonne Isaacs, 17, both of Delevan for petit larceny after they were caught shoplifting. Both subjects were released on appearance tickets to appear in Springville Court at a later date.
– Oct. 19, Patrol investigated a property damage automobile accident on South Cascade Drive.
– Oct. 25, Patrol investigated a property damage automobile accident on South Cascade Drive.

Springville Police Department
– Sept. 30, Patrol investigated a report of a disturbance at Lowes.
– Oct. 2, Patrol investigated a report of loose pigs damaging the property at E&M Engineers.
– Oct. 3, Patrol assisted with a neighbor dispute on West Main Street.
– Oct. 4, Patrol assisted Erie County Sheriff’s deputies with an aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle arrest at South Cascade Drive and West Main Street.
– Oct. 5, Patrol assisted Erie County Sheriff’s deputies with a shoplifter on South Cascade Drive.
– Oct. 7, Patrol assisted Erie County Sheriffs deputies with a disturbance in the municipal parking lot off East Main Street.
– Oct. 8, The department’s commercial truck enforcement unit and the New York State Department of Transportation performed truck inspections on North Cascade Drive.
– Oct. 9, Patrol assisted Erie County Sheriff’s deputies with a domestic situation.
– Oct. 9, Patrol assisted Erie County Sheriff’s deputies with an attempt to locate on West Main Street.
– Oct. 9, Patrol investigated report of a suspicious vehicle at the Scoby Hill Dam Park.
– Oct.11, Patrol assisted Erie County Sheriff’s deputies with a narcotics arrest.
– Oct. 12, Patrol investigated a report of an unwelcome guest on East Main Street.
– Oct. 12, Patrol assisted with two shoplifters at Wal-Mart.
– Oct. 13, Patrol assisted Erie County Sheriff’s deputies with a personal injury automobile accident at Vaughn and North streets.
– Oct. 13, Patrol investigated an animal complaint on Elm Street.
– Oct. 13, Patrol assisted Erie County Sheriff’s deputies with a reckless driver complaint and subsequent DWI arrest on South Cascade Drive.
– Oct. 15, Patrol assisted Erie County Sheriff’s deputies with a possible violation of an order of protection.
– Oct. 15, Patrol assisted Erie County Sheriff’s deputies with a larceny at the Boys & Girls Club on Maple Avenue.
– Oct. 15, Patrol stopped a vehicle on East Main Street after they observed the driver using a cellphone. A driver’s license check was made and patrol found out that Autumn Beck, of Delevan, was driving on a suspended license and she was subsequently arrested.
– Oct. 16, Patrol investigated a complaint and arrested Barry Tanner of Springville for harassment second degree, endangering the welfare of a child and disorderly conduct.
– Oct. 17, Patrol assisted the Buffalo Police Department with a notification on Cattaraugus Street.
– Oct. 17, Patrol investigated a report of a disorderly subject at a business on East Main Street.
– Oct. 18, Patrol arrested James Wheat, of Gowanda, in the village court after it was found that he had an active warrant out of the village of Gowanda.
– Oct. 18, Patrol assisted the code enforcement officer with serving paperwork on South Cascade Drive.
– Oct. 19, Patrol assisted Erie County Sheriff’s deputies with a disturbance on South Cascade Drive.
– Oct. 19, Patrol assisted Erie County Sheriff’s deputies with a disturbance on West Main Street.
– Oct. 24, Patrol performed a welfare check on Forest Avenue.
– Oct. 24, Patrol performed policing at Springville-Griffith Institute during a junior varsity football game.
– Oct. 25, Patrol assisted a motorist in a car-deer collision on Route 219.
