Lockport Police Reports for the week of Feb. 20

Police reports from the Lockport Police Department.
Feb. 16
DWI
Mathew R. Castaldo, 22, 139 Cottage St., Lockport was charged with driving while intoxicated Feb. 16.
Police observed a vehicle being operated the wrong way and made a traffic stop. While interviewing the driver the odor of an alcoholic beverage was on the driver’s breath.
The driver also had glassy blood shot eves. Patrol asked if the driver had anything to drink and he stated one of two beers.
Patrol conducted field sobriety tests, which he failed.
Feb. 17
Possession
Lorenzo J. Snow, 39, 23 Trenaman St., Rochester was charged with third-degree possession of controlled substance Feb. 17.
The Niagara County Drug Task Force executed a search warrant at 129 Lock St. in the City of Lockport. Two individuals were arrested on possession of a controlled substance charges.
Angelina E. Evans, 21, 129 Lock St., Apt. Lower, Lockport was also charged with third-degree possession of a controlled substance.
Charged
Martin Horanburg, II, 50, 177 N. Adam St., Lockport was charged with second-degree menacing, resisting arrest and second-degree obstruction of governmental administration Feb. 17.
Police responded to a domestic incident. The victim told police that Horanburg was threatening her with a knife. She appeared intoxicated and also indicated that Horanburg was also intoxicated.
She was also worried about her two teenage sons that were still in the residence.
When patrol entered the residence they found Horanburg standing behind a wall. He had a canned beverage in one hand and an unknown object in his other hand. When asked to show his hands, he refused.
According to reports, Martin K. Horanburg, III, came running down the stairs and began yelling. He was advised to go outside but refused.
They got him outside and he allegedly attempted to push through officers to get back inside. He was charged with second-degree obstruction of governmental administration and resisting arrest.
Horanburg, II then came around the corner. Patrol ordered him to the ground and he began to laugh. He was physically put on the ground where he began to curl up and refused to give his hands to patrol
Feb. 19
Endanger
Stacey L. Miller, 28, 401 Ohio St., Lockport was charged with endangering the welfare of a child and fourth-degree criminal mischief Feb. 19.
Police were dispatched to a report of a domestic. They spoke to the victim who stated that she had heard her granddaughter crying in the living room.
When she went to see what was going on, she allegedly found Miller text messaging and not paying attention to the juvenile.
The victim confronted Miller, who became irate. The victim said that Miller began hitting her and placed her arms around her throat causing her to have difficulty breathing.
Miller then allegedly went outside and broke the window to the back door, valued at $50.
