South Cascade Drive arrest
Erie County Sheriff’s deputies arrested Nathan Kent, 26, of Great Valley, on Dec. 15 at 3 a.m. on South Cascade Drive in the town of Concord.

Kent was pulled over for failing to stay in his lane. At that time, he was driving with a suspended license.

As a result, in addition to the driving while intoxicated charge, he was charged with aggravated unlicensed operation third degree, driving with a suspended registration and unlawful possession of marijuana.

Kent was released into the custody of a third party.

Springville man charged with DWI

Erie County Sheriff Timothy Howard reported the arrest of Joshua Moroge, 25, of Springville, on Dec. 26 at 12:58 a.m. on Genesee Road in the town of Concord, following a one-car, property damage automobile accident.

While on patrol in Concord, Erie County Sheriff’s Deputy Don Hoelscher arrested Moroge and charged him with aggravated driving while intoxicated, after his vehicle crashed at the corner of Genesee and Transit Line roads. He was not injured.

A breath test revealed Moroge’s blood alcohol content to be at .20 percent, which is more than twice the legal limit. The aggravated DWI was a result of the offender’s BAC’s being higher than .18 percent. He was processed at the Springville substation and released on appearance tickets.

West Valley woman arrested
Cattaraugus County Sheriff’s deputies arrested Christine Decosta, 22, of West Valley on Dec. 24 at 12:43 a.m., following a motor vehicle accident on Beech Tree Road in the town of Ashford.

A 2007 Ford pickup truck owned by Alan James of West Falls, and operated by Decosta, was traveling south on Beech Tree Road when it ran off the roadway, struck several small trees and overturned the vehicle.Decosta was charged with driving while intoxicated and other traffic infractions.
