Police blotter from the Journal week of March 29

The Erie County Sheriff’s Office responded to several calls from Feb. 15-March 21. Following is a sampling of the incidents in Boston, Colden, Concord, Sardinia and Springville:

Boston

– Feb. 18, Patrol arrested Joseph Fentzke, 17, of Hamburg, for unlawful possession of marijuana and underage possession of alcohol. He was released on appearance tickets, to appear in Boston Court at a later date. The arrest took place on Patchin Road.

– March 15, Patrol arrested Mark Lucas, 44, of Buffalo for unlawful possession of marijuana, following a traffic stop on Route 219. He was released on appearance tickets to appear in Boston Court at a later date.

– Patrol investigated 20 property damage automobile accidents in the town of Boston, from Feb. 15-March 21.

Colden

– Patrol investigated nine property damage automobile accidents in the town of Colden, from Feb. 15-March 21.

Concord

– Feb. 19, Patrol arrested Jeremy Rung, 31, of Springville, for unlawful possession of marijuana. He was released on appearance tickets to appear in Concord Court at a later date. The arrest took place on Route 219.

– Feb. 28, Patrol arrested Darrin Whitcomb, 25, of Franklinville, for criminal possession of a controlled substance in the second degree, following a traffic stop on Route 219. Whitcomb was released on appearance tickets to appear in Concord Court at a later date.

– Feb. 22, Patrol arrested Vincent Roberts, 30, of Colden, on an outstanding warrant. He was taken to the Erie County Holding Center pending arraignment.

– Feb. 23, Patrol arrested Stephen Myers, 23, of Concord, on an outstanding warrant. He was taken to the

ECHC following arraignment. The arrest took place on Hardwood Court.

– March 8, Patrol arrested Kyle Anger, 17, of North Java, for driving while intoxicated and other related charges, on Glenwood Road. He was committed to ECHC.

– March 8, Patrol arrested Theresa Roberts, 48, of Ashford on an outstanding warrant.

– March 21, Patrol arrested Clark Bono, 69, of Great Valley, for driving while intoxicated and other related charges. He submitted to a breath test with the result being .12 percent blood alcohol content. He was released on appearance tickets to appear in court, at a later date. The arrest took place on Route 219.

Sardinia

– Feb. 18, Patrol arrested Daniel Ellis, 36, of Aurora, for criminal possession of a controlled substance. He was released on appearance tickets to appear in Sardinia Court at a later date. The arrest took place on Olean Road.

Springville

– Feb. 15, Patrol arrested Grant Newman, 31, of Springville, on an outstanding warrant from Cattaraugus County. Newman was turned over to the Cattaraugus County Sheriff’s Office.

– Feb. 20, Patrol arrested Dale Redeye, 34, of Salamanca, on an outstanding warrant from the New York State Police. He was turned over to the New York State Police. The arrest took place on South Cascade Drive.

– Feb. 28, Patrol arrested Benjamin Lingenfelter, 24, of Orchard Park, on an outstanding warrant. He was taken to the ECHC, pending arraignment. The arrest took place on West Main Street.

– Feb. 28, Patrol arrested Kristen Kulczyk, 24, of Cattaraugus, on an outstanding warrant from the Cattaraugus County Sheriff’s office. She was turned over the to Cattaraugus County Sheriff’s office. The arrest took place on West Main Street.

– March 10, Patrol arrested Thomas Smith, 20, of Lackawanna, on an outstanding warrant. He was released on his own recognizance. The arrest took place on Franklin Street.

– March 14, Patrol arrested Jacob Miller, 20, of Gowanda, for criminal possession of a controlled substance and other related charges, following a traffic stop on North Vaughn Street. He was released on appearance tickets to appear in Concord Court, at a later date.

– March 15, Patrol arrested Joshua French, 27, of Springville on an outstanding warrant. He was taken to the ECHC, pending arraignment.

Springville Police Department

– Feb. 15, Patrol stopped Anthony Mills for a traffic violation. A check of his driver’s license revealed that his driver’s license had been suspended. He was arrested on the charge of aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle and release.

– Feb. 17, Patrol assisted Erie County Sheriff’s deputies with a hit-and-run automobile accident on East Main Street.

– Feb. 20, Patrol investigated a report of a suspicious person in the area of Cochran Avenue and Park Street.

– Feb. 20, Patrol investigated a report of an unwanted person who was causing problems at Tim Hortons.

– Feb. 21, Patrol assisted Erie County Sheriff’s deputies with a custody dispute on West Main Street.

Feb. 25, Patrol assisted a citizen with a harassment complaint on Franklin Street.

– Feb. 28, Patrol assisted Erie County Sheriff’s deputies with a warrant arrest on West Main Street.

– Feb. 28, Patrol assisted Erie County Sheriff’s deputies with a traffic stop and drug arrest on Route 219.

– March 2, Patrol assisted Erie County Sheriff’s deputies with a disturbance on East Main Street.

– March 4, Patrol investigated report of a larceny on West Main Street.

– March 5, The department’s Commercial Truck Enforcement Unit and the New York state DOT performed truck inspections on North Cascade Drive.

– March 6, Patrol arrested Joseph Delio on a bench warrant from the town of Concord Court and transported him to ECHC.

– March 7, Patrol investigated report of an intoxicated male who was causing a disturbance at Bertrand Chaffee Hospital.

– March 14, Patrol was requested to check the area of West Main and Newman streets for an intoxicated male with a bicycle in the middle of the street.

– March 14, Patrol investigated a personal injury automobile accident at Routes 219 and 39.

– March 17, Patrol was requested to check the area of East Main and Newman streets for a disorderly male.

– March 18, Patrol investigated a report of a disorderly person at the Microtel on South Cascade Drive.

– March 18, Patrol assisted Erie County Sheriff’s deputies with an intoxicated male at the Country Fair store.
