BOSTON — Erie County Sheriff Timothy Howard reported the arrest of an East Aurora man for driving while intoxicated on Dec. 19, after his vehicle became disabled in a snowbank in the town of Boston.
Erie County Sheriff’s Deputies Ken Achtyl and Jason Bouton responded to Lower East Hill Road, in the town of Boston, for a report of a vehicle disabled in a snowbank.
Upon arrival, deputies discovered the driver, Christopher Wier, 21, of East Aurora, to be intoxicated.
Wier had lost control of his vehicle, left the road and struck the snowbank. He was uninjured. He submitted to a chemical breath test, which showed a.10 percent blood alcohol content.
He was charged with driving while intoxicated and other traffic violations.
