EAST OTTO — Cattaraugus County Sheriff’s deputies investigated a two-car motor vehicle accident in the town of East Otto on Feb. 8.
Christopher Marek, 21, of Cattaraugus, was operating a vehicle which rear-ended another vehicle at the intersection of East Otto-Springville and Hammond Hill roads.
A New York Statewide Police Information check found that Marek’s license had various suspensions and there was an outstanding warrant for his arrest.
He was charged with aggravated unlicensed operation second degree, following too closely, uninspected motor vehicle and unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle.
Marek was taken to the town of Otto Court for arraignment, where bail was set at $5,000.
