SCENe fitness class resumes

SPRINGVILLE — Springville Concord Elder Network Coordinator Ginny Krebs has announced that the organization has engaged Kim Robbins, a certified senior fitness trainer, to offer her “Stretch & Strengthen Class.” The time and location will remain the same: Wednesdays, 11-11:45 a.m. at the Concord Town Hall auditorium, located at 86 Franklin St. in Springville. Sessions begin Oct. 7 and will run for eight weeks.

Krebs said that Robbins is known as “the Energizer Bunny” by class participants. “Her friendly nature and positive attitude is contagious. This SCENe program can accommodate many levels of mobility, as Robbins has modifications for each movement. Some people need to hold onto a chair for balance, while others can stand unaided.”

The SCENe stretch and strengthen class is free and open to area senior citizens. Call the SCENe office at 592-7599 to register or for more information. SCENe is supported by Healthy Community Alliance, Inc.; Health Foundation for Western and Central New York; the town of Concord; Erie County Senior Services; Love INC; private donations; many community partners and SCENe volunteers.
