SPRINGVILLE — Community Bank System Inc., a registered bank holding company with more than 185 retail branches throughout upstate and central New York and Pennsylvania, has announced the hiring of Michael Boza, as an agricultural banker. Boza works out of the bank’s Springville office.
Boza is now responsible for servicing and growing the existing agricultural portfolio, in the entire western region for Community Bank. He was previously employed at Bank of Castile in Arcade, as an agricultural loan officer until 2004, and then became self-employed, as a financial business consultant.
Boza is on the board of directors at Bertrand-Chaffee Hospital and is also the past chairman of the finance committee. He is also a member and past chairman of the finance committee at St. Jude’s Church. He attended Cornell University, where he graduated in 1978 with a Bachelor of Science in farm business management and Finance.
He resides in Arcade.
