Mike Amodeo running for state senate

SPRINGVILLE — Endorsed Democratic candidate for the 60th New York State Senate District Mike Amodeo has announced his official platform, entitled “New Leadership for Tomorrow,” which focuses on economic development and job growth for Western New York.

“I have a strategic vision for Buffalo’s future,” Amodeo said, “and that vision includes a strong middle class, a more sustainable environment and a local business climate that fosters innovation, entrepreneurship and job creation. When elected to the New York State Senate, I vow to champion policies and legislation that will put more money in the pockets of middle class Buffalonians. At the same time, I will work to change the way we incentivize regional business growth, fight against bloated government, support term limits and campaign finance reform, while looking at ways to reduce red tape for small businesses and start-ups.”

Amodeo currently lives in the town of Hamburg with his wife, son and daughter. He is a graduate of Hobart College and the University at Buffalo School of Law. He is employed as an attorney at Damon Morey, LLP in downtown Buffalo. He has never held an elected office.
