LET’S GO TO EMERLING — A car cruise was held at Emerling Chevrolet on July 3. Boy Scout Troop 491 served hot dogs, hamburgers, soft drinks and candy.
SPRINGVILLE — A July 3 car cruise, held at Emerling Chevrolet of Boston, was not a Fireside Inn event, as was incorrectly reported, in a previous Springville Journal issue.
This event was run by Ray Kingfish Lucas of Kingfish Services, which is a tropical fish educational promotional company.
Boy Scout Troop 491 of Boston served hot dogs, hamburgers, soft drinks and candy, during the event. Cub Scout Troop 391 held a pinewood derby, in the showroom of the dealership.
The Springville Boys & Girls Club hosted a 50/50 raffle and made $317 in profit.
The event also marked the birthdays of Kenny Kittle, 71, and Buffalo News photographer Bob Smith, 83.
