COLDEN — Through Chrysler brand’s Drive for the Kids™ program, Emerling Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram helped raise $2,120 for Colden Elementary School, during a June 14 fundraiser. The event was held in conjunction with the local elementary school’s field day.
“The Chrysler® brand and our local dealerships are committed to giving back to the communities where we do business,” said Phil Scroggin, director of the Northeast Business Center for Chrysler Group LLC. “We are extremely proud to support both schools and organizations, as they encourage student development and growth.”
Participants earned a $10 contribution to the school from Chrysler, by taking a test drive in a Chrysler vehicle, made available by Emerling Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram.
The school with the highest number of test drives in each one of five geographic regions will win an additional $5,000, for a total of $25,000 in additional funding from Chrysler, through the Drive for the Kids program.
Chrysler dealers have worked with parents and educators through Drive for the Kids, since 1993. For more information, visit www.drive4kids.com.
