WVCS bowling off to a slow start

WEST VALLEY ó The West Valley boys bowling team returns two bowlers, captain and senior Evan Williams and junior Paul Davies, who coach Jackie Mumbach said she hopes will be the top two bowlers, on the team. The team also saw senior Mike Nowak, senior Frank Cardamone, junior Troy Hamblin and sophomore Derrick Miller join the team, this year.

On the girls squad, the only returning bowler is captain and senior Lindsey Smith, who Mumbach said she expects to serve as the experience and leadership of the team. Sophomore Rachel Morton was a substitute bowler last year, and is now a full-time member of the squad. Juniors Alycia Currie and Alexis Turlington and sophomore Kelsi Belz round out the team, with Rosemary Morton acting as this yearís substitute.
