WVCS bowling loses

WEST VALLEY — The West Valley Central School boys bowling team lost all four games to Allegany-Limestone on Jan. 22.The high game of the evening belonged to team captain Evan Williams, with a 210.

He ended the night with a total of 517. The high series of the night belonged to Mike Nowak, at 549. Paul Davies came in third for the night, with a 405.vThe girls had some personal bests for the night, but still couldn’t touch Allegany-Limestone. Kelsi Belz had her personal best and the best game of the night, at 155, and her personal best and best series of the night were 369.

Rachel Morton had her personal best game, at 141.

A make-up match took place against Gowanda on Jan. 29 at Cascade Lanes in Springville. The last match of the season, against Hinsdale, which was also senior recognition day, took place Feb. 1 at Central Lanes in Salamanca, N.Y.
