Robert Kuhl honored by veterans in Washington, D.C.

[photo1]Robert Kuhl of East Concord was among 27 World War II veterans honored by Honor Flight Buffalo. He went to Washington, D.C. to visit the World War II Memorial, Arlington National Cemetery, Korean Memorial, Vietnam Memorial and Lincoln Memorial on May 5.Kuhl was inducted into the United States Army on April 16, 1942 and received an honorable discharge on Nov. 26, 1945. He received the rank of technician fifth grade. For the greater part of his service, he was stationed at the Aleutian Islands. A new exhibit heads to Cattaraugus County Museum
A new exhibit has opened at the Cattaraugus County Museum, 9824 Route 16, in Machias. Prescription cards to be mailed out on May 14
The Cattaraugus County Department of the Aging announced the launch of the ProAct prescription drug discount program. Beginning May 14, ProAct will mail prescription discount cards to every household in Cattaraugus County. The discount card covers all prescription medications but cannot be used in conjunction with any other type of health insurance. Cards will be mailed to every Cattaraugus County household, the week of May 14. Various county agencies and municipalities will also receive a supply of cards for distribution to residents. The Boston Town Board is seeking to save Buffalo’s William Street Post Office
