Kudos to the residents of Cheektowaga/ sloan for defeating this budget. Why should we pay school taxes that are twice as much as other areas? Look at the difference between Amherst schools and ours. The education is 110% better and 50% cheaper. Don't be fooled..how much of this money actually goes to the children. Look at the outrageous salaries. This budget will be presented again and they will pull their cronies out of the woodwork to try to pass it. Be smart...get all your friends and neighbors to vote it down....AGAIN! We are all tired of these high school taxes. Remember last October?
