Buffalo, NY A Childrens Fair will be hosted on May 19th 2012 from 11:00 AM to 2:30 PM at Westminster Early Childhood Programs at the Westminster Presbyterian Church at 724 Delaware Avenue in Buffalo. The Childrens Fair is an annual event which includes rides, games, food, and fun specifically designed for the toddlers and preschoolers and their families. All games, rides, and food items range in price from 1- 3 dollars. The fair includes carnival rides and games to keep the little guys engaged, including a train, swings, a ring toss, and a tricycle obstacle course, with fun and easy prizes to win. In addition, face painting, a raffle with thousands of dollars worth of prizes to win, and two bounce houses, one for toddlers and one for big kids (i.e. 4-5 year olds) will be featured. Snacks, lunch food, and delicious baked goods will also be available for purchase. All fair proceeds directly support Westminster Early Childhood Programs and help to offset costs associated with providing quality care and learning experiences for children. The Childrens Fair is open to all members of the community and provides young children the unforgettable experience of enjoying a carnival designed specifically for them. May 20, from noon to 4PM we are having a food drive for the Food Bank of WNY. This event will be somewhat unique as it involves 3 organizations. The Cheektowaga Senior Center, Cheektowaga Caboose Museum and the Church of God an International Association. The centerpiece for the day is to see what is happening at the caboose museum, which s in the process of adding more displays and items of interest.It would help us many ways if you could cover our progress with this museum and its upcoming events. I want to add that Those who donate food for this food drive will receive a chance to win an HO scale train set. we will raffle off to benefit the museum and its future displays.
