Vibes Massage Studio opens in Springville

SPRINGVILLE – Helping people relax or get relief for their muscle aches and pains is something owner Aissa Snow hopes to achieve in her new Springville business. Snow has opened Vibes Massage Studio, 53 E. Main St. to help those in Springville with their massage needs.

Massage services at Vibes feature Swedish massage, deep tissue, hot stone and the raindrop technique, which combines aromatherapy and reflexology in a healing and cleansing massage. Snow has been a licensed massage therapist since 2013 and hopes to use her experience to show people the benefits of massage and how it can help their lives.

“A lot of people just can’t relax. Life is stressful … everyone either has a stressful job or stresses at home and a massage overall can just relax you,” Snow said. “Also your muscles need circulation and getting them loosened up is really important for your body as a whole.

Snow first opened Vibes Massage Studio in North Collins in 2015 so she could own her own business and have a flexible schedule with her two young children. After deciding to grow the business, Snow talked to a friend in Springville about vacant spaces, who later leased and renovated a space for Vibes Massage Studio to open on Jan. 12.

Snow started her massage career studying at Trocaire College, doing both relaxation massages and medical clinicals at Roswell Park Cancer Institute, Depew Chiropractic College and Kenmore Pulmonary Rehab. After college, Snow worked with group homes and continues to do massages at nine different group homes once a month. Helping people with their massage therapy is something Snow enjoys and hopes to use her experience to help more people with their pain or relaxation.

“Massage is really up and coming because people are noticing they can feel better just getting a massage once a month,” Snow said. “It helps you emotionally and it’s really overall great for your whole body.”

Reception to her new business has been positive so far since opening, Snow said. From clients who want a massage to businesses welcoming her to the community and offering their help, Snowis grateful for all the support and hopes to offer a great new service to the community.

“The community is amazing. I’ve never been involved in a super shop local community,” Snow said. “Springville has been so inviting, it’s been really good and everybody seems to want to support each other. Business has boomed since I’ve been here.”

Vibes Massage Studio is open by appointment only. For more information or to book an appointment, call 863-6054.
